From the Desk of the Founder

“ I began my career as a JEE Physics Faculty at Brilliant Tutorials Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2000. In those early years in the classroom, I learned something that no textbook had prepared me for: the student sitting in front of me was not failing because they lacked ability. They were failing because no one had yet believed in them enough to show them they were capable.

That single insight has driven every decision I have made in 25 years of JEE teaching. It drove me to become a Mathematics and Physics Teacher Trainer for over 20 years — because I believed that if I could help teachers believe in their students, the students would begin to believe in themselves.

And it drives JEE99plus.

My Core Principle: Believe in Kids

"Every student who walks into a JEE classroom carries the potential to succeed. My job — as a teacher, as a test designer, and as a mentor — is not to filter out the weak. It is to build the strong. That begins with one act: believing in the student before they believe in themselves."

JEE99plus is the institutional expression of this belief. Every test in our series is designed with one question foremost in the designer’s mind: Will this test leave the student more capable and more confident than when they started? If the answer is yes, the test earns its place in the series. If not, it is redesigned.

The Journey: 2000 to Today

  • Joined Brilliant Tutorials Pvt. Ltd. as JEE Physics Faculty. Began developing a systematic approach to concept-first, test-driven pedagogy. 2000.
  • Expanded into Mathematics and Physics Teacher Training, working with educators across institutions to embed confidence-building and formative assessment into classroom practice. 2005 onwards.
  • Taught thousands of JEE aspirants across classroom and online formats, refining the Sprint-Mock architecture that now forms the backbone of JEE99plus. 25+ Years.
  • Launching JEE99plus — a test series that distils a quarter-century of teaching experience into a structured, student-first learning system. Today.

What I Believe About JEE Preparation

  1. Knowledge without training is incomplete preparation. A student who knows Physics but has never trained to perform under exam conditions will underperform.
  2. Confidence is not innate — it is built. Tests designed with care and intention are the most powerful confidence-building tools available to an educator.
  3. Every student deserves a system that believes in them. JEE99plus is that system.
